You may not believe it but it’s true. I actually lost 12 pounds in one day and you can too. No gimmicks and it’s easy! Here is the secret…
You probably clicked on this post because you are tired of all the fad diets that never seem to work. Unfortunately, I can’t help you with that but I can help you lose some quick pounds. You might be wondering… huh? What’s the difference?
Let me explain…. If you noticed I never talked about losing weight, because I never lost weight, I lost pounds. I was referring to the time a few years ago when I visited England and had exchanged American dollars into British currency (i.e. “pounds’”). I was at the airport and they charged me 12 pounds just to perform the transaction. I later found out there are cheaper ways to do it without losing 12 pounds in the process. So technically speaking, I lost 12 pounds in one day and you can too. Just go to the airport to exchange your money. It’s easy! I know you’re saying… “Come on!”
Well the reason I took you down this road, was to highlight how the world of false impressions work while still technically telling the truth. While it may be a popular approach to marketing and business, it has no place in our personal lives and interaction with one another. Jesus said…
Matthew 5:37… Simply let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
In other words, don’t fabricate, embellish, or give false impressions that aren’t true. Even if you claim you are technically not lying, if your goal is to deceive, it is lying. Jesus said when we do this, it is wrong and from the “evil one”. That means Satan is behind this activity because he is the “father of lies” (c.f. John 8:44). Yikes!
So the next time you are tempted to embellish or manipulate someone into believing something that isn’t true, think about God’s definition of lying and how much you appreciated finding out losing pounds wasn’t what you thought it would be. God wants us to be honest with each other, speaking truth in love!
As far as actually losing weight goes, I only know of one surefire way that works every time… “less input and more output.” Sorry!
